Some minor updates are posted. I've been messing with the logo design for the MWP, and you can take a sneek peek at the homepage and here below. Tell me if you guys like it!
Too bad my computer isn't cooperating at it's best, thus giving me a few problems with the main page. The "coming soon" image is way too small (*), and I'm wondering if I should keep the borders... Ah well, it's just a coming soon logo; I'll beter continue messing with the full site, eh? 
Anyways, I did had some luck with the media player. It had a weird bug causing it to stop in the middle of a video, but luckely that one is gone. Can someone please test this by playing the Runaway 2.0 video on our Projects section in the beta page, and comment if it's working properly? Thanks!
Since Charfield and I are almost done with this school year (good luck with your exams tomorrow, Charfield!), expect some major updates soon!
Again, expect the MWP to be done around the end of July...

Fortunately, I've got hollidays once again, which means I've got some time to continue work on the morphweasel project. It's been quite a while since the last post, so I thought I would post another update on this progress.
It's a bit diffrent then last time, because you cannot test the new stuff I'm working on on the beta test page yet. That's because I can only work offline on these projects. For example, I've learned the basics and the not-so-basics of programs such as Adobe Flash, and I'm working on an animation! So no beta testing for you this time, but I promise I will put some updates on the website once I completed them offline.
So what are these updates I'm working on? Well, these are some of the projects which you will be able to see in the near future on our projects page! I am working on a total of 7 projects (and counting) which will all be up at the day of the morphweasel.com's launch, which will be in two months. Yep, that's right, I'm planning to launch the full version of the morphweasel project (from here on refered as MWP) in July 2008! But before the offcial launch I will already post some of these projects on the beta version. So let's take a look at the list of all the projects that will be online at the MWP launch.
- A short animated film (art)
- My old Line Rider - Downtown Run video (art)
- A couple of drawings (art)
- Two magic videos (magic)
- A card flourish collaberation video with Charfield and me (flourishes)
- The Runaway 2.0 (short movie)
- A videoclip/animation (other)
- Secret Projects (All categories)
Of course we will also finish the full site by that time, including the lay-out, various articles, etc. But before it is July, I have to finish this school year first... But don't worry, behind the scenes I'll be working on these projects, and I'll try to get it all done by the end of July.
Stay tuned for more information and keep the beta version of the MWP in your favorites, because I will post some stuff before the deadline already :D

The best time to relax, have fun, and... work on your website! Well, at least plan to work on your website that is. My previous website is still in coming soon state, even when I planned to do many things with it during the holliday period. And to prevent the morphweasel project from sharing the same fate, I decided to just start with it right away!
And after 3 days of flash-learning, I made my very own flash menu for morphweasel.com! Well, not very much else to see on the beta pages, but still, you can check that menu of mine out here.
That's right! The beta 1.0 version of morphweasel is online! And you can all check it out! 
This way I'll prove I really do something with my spare time during the hollidays, and not just posting "coming soon" without anything to come soon.
So expect more to come this week at the beta pages, and also keep your eyes on this blog, because there is cool stuff to come!

moviePosted by Daniël Wed, February 13, 2008 18:30:24About a year ago we filmed this short movie for school. One year later, I decided to re-edit the film to learn the basics of my new video editing program Sony Vegas.
The movie has a simple (but effective) plot: a guy sees two people dealing drugs, and wants to run away. When the dealers notice that the man escapes, they start to chase him: "The Runaway" is then a fact.
Also note the little bonus scene after the credits. I hope you enjoy this movie. I still do anyways =)

Today the domain www.morphweasel.com was created. This is still an empty place, but soon it will be filled with art, magic, videos, card flourishes, reviews, and much more. The morphweasel project will be a place to share my art (in many ways) with my family, my friends and... the world.
